Anushka goes to Bollywood now

Actress Anushka finally makes her way into Bollywood. It’s all for the remake of her Telugu Blockbuster ‘Arundhathi’.

Once, the film proved to be extremely successful in Tollywood Box Office, the film was dubbed into Tamil with the same title that eventually grossed with colossal results. But again, remaking in Hindi was the next story that was highlighted across the towns.

Earlier, Asin was preferred by Producer Madhu Mantena of Geetha Arts (Producer of Aamir’s Ghajini). But then, as the producer of Telugu version M Shyam Prasad decided to make his entry into Bollywood remaking this film, Asin was dropped from the option.

Again, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi fame Anushka was considered to be roped in. Nevertheless, with the actress being committed with Yash Raj Films for another project, the missy couldn’t pick it up though she was worthy enough to don this role. Finally, Anushka herself forays into Bollywood with this remake. Sonu Sood, who donned baddie role in Telugu version, will be performing the same role in this remake version too
